As AA members we participate by going to meetings at our groups, but there are many more opportunities to get involved and do service in A.A. Many of us have found that volunteering to do service on the Convention Team not only improves the quality of our recovery but also helps spread the message of freedom and hope to others. You do not have to have a commitment to attend our meetings. We have members who attend as observers, to experience what happens at these meetings, and others who attend to assist in any way they can. Either way, we welcome you and encourage you to join us!

LITERATURE TEAM ASSISTANTS
This position includes
- Assisting the Literature Person at the convention by offering support at the literature stand according to allocated time slots.
- Smiling constantly š
GREETERS
This position includes:
- Welcoming guests and directing them to registration table and/or other areas of the hotel as per shared time schedules set up by the Top Greeter.
PUBLIC INFORMATION GROUP REPORTER
Are you active in your group in spreading the message? Let us know and present on our PI platform!
ENTERTAINMENT TEAM ASSISTANTS
This position includes
- Assisting the entertainment team members with setting up the convention entertainment events, like the Pub Quiz and the Karaoke Night.
AA Program participationĀ
Are you willing to participate in the convention program? There are multiple options available, such as:
- Sponsoring a meeting with your home group
- Hosting or participating in a workshop
- Sharing any other ideas that you might have with us
